Y’all….my husband loves to cook. Think on that for a minute. He loves to cook, AND he does dishes and laundry. I know, I know, he is AH-mazing, and he’s all mine.
He came up with this chili recipe a couple years ago and it’s delicious. I think he needs to enter it into a chili cooking contest. I thought I would share it all with you and see if you have the same opinion.
Let me know if you make it and what you think!
Brown in pan until cooked:
1 pound of burger (we use venison)
1 tube of hot sausage
Drain meat and transfer to a big cooking pot or crockpot
1 can of Rotel Tomatoes
2 cans of diced tomatoes
2 tbsp. of minced garlic
1 can of kidney beans
1 can of black beans
1 cup of chopped peppers (we use half a red and half a yellow and it makes for pretty dish)
1 can of tomato soup
2 tbsp of sugar
Salt and pepper
Simmer chili on stove until onions and peppers are softened, or transfer to crockpot and cook on low until veggies are softened.
Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream (how I like it) or shredded cheese and Ritz Crackers (how Glen likes it)
